The LEM brand is relatively young, established in 2020. We operate in the slow fashion industry, producing catwalk collections, accessories, headwear, and shoes. Our journey began in 2019 under the name FreeDone, which was rebranded into LEM in 2020. Since then, all collections have been produced under the LEM name.

We believe that fashion is a powerful means of communication. It plays an active role in advocating for positive and responsible approaches to global problems, human rights, equality, anti-war manifestations, and the protection of our planet. Storytelling through collections is essential to the LEM DNA. Our collections reflect meaningful narratives: Glory to Ukraine, Patchwork, Flowers' Positive Power, The Poem (inspired by a Georgian historical poem), Feminine Power (against violence toward women), and Sleeping Beauty (inspired by the 2024 Met Gala theme).

Our first collection was created in the spring of 2020; however, due to the pandemic, catwalk shows could not take place internationally. For the same reason, it was not possible to show the second collection on a physical podium. In February 2020, I designed our first footwear model. Today, we offer over 30 distinct shoe designs for both men and women.

Despite the pandemic and other disruptive conditions, LEM never stopped working for a single day. The Winter 2021 collection, inspired by the famous Georgian film "The Wishing Tree," was sent by post to Kyiv, where it was successfully showcased on the runway. Although we could not attend in person and watched the show on TV, it was a significant milestone for us.

Unfortunately, the fashion industry can damage the environment. Sustainability is at the heart of the LEM DNA, and we work with international best practice guidelines to support sustainable strategies. My current work as a safety and environmental engineer gives me deep insight into waste minimization and zero-carbon targets. We believe high fashion needs a "mental revolution" to support sustainability worldwide. All our accessories and headwear are made using upcycling techniques—transforming metal waste, packaging materials, old light fixtures, and home decorations, as well as reusing items from previous collections.
