LEM brand established in 2020, we are in the slow fashion industry and produce catwalk collections, accessories, headwear and shoes.
We believe that fashion is powerful communication means and can play active role in advocating positive and responsible approach to global problems, human right and equality, anti war manifestation and protection of our planet and nature
LEM has very limited production and only produces artisan collections/accessories/
• • Material efficiency: Reducing the amount of material for each specific model being created as much as possible, avoid mass production of product and only make limited quantity
• • Re using previous collection models into the new one, re using un sold clothes into new collection, use remaining fabric from old collections so creation of waste really minimised, use dead stock or un sold clothes and materials
• • Apply Upcycling techniques – most of our accessories are created from scrap or waste, also we giving metal, wood, plastic decorations and materials new life.
• • Waste minimization – one of the strategies is use Patchwork technique – this helps us using old/small Fabrice pieces to make patchworks clothes, or use clothes from previous collection. We also try to minimise paper packaging materials as much as possible and use fabric bags for packaging/wrapping.
• • Sourcing changes: Shifting material sourcing from higher carbon sources to lower ones
We will continuously monitor and evaluate fashion market for more sustainable materials and fabrics, new sustainable methods and technics to be employed during manufacturing process in order to comply with sustainability requirements
